Get your free estimateThe Keegan Restoration Brooklyn Guarantee
We put it in writing before we put a single fan on the floor. That’s the short version. The longer version is this: every water damage restoration, fire damage restoration, and mold remediation job we take in Brooklyn is backed by the 365-Day Done Right Promise, which is exactly what it sounds like. If the repair fails within one year, Keegan returns and makes it right at no charge. No fine print gymnastics, no “that’s not covered” conversations. You get a written guarantee on the work, a written price before the work starts, and a live person on the phone when you call (607) 325-7185, day or night. Shane Pruitt, Owner, has run Keegan Restoration Brooklyn under The Garrison Standard since 2005, and that standard has one rule that matters most: the price goes down on paper before anything else happens.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship on every repair. If our water extraction, drying, fire restoration, or mold remediation work fails within 365 days, we come back and fix it free, no second invoice, no argument.
- Parts and materials we install. When we replace drywall, flooring, baseboards, or any material as part of a restoration, those pieces are covered under the same one-year Done Right Promise as the labor.
- Cleanup and site condition. We leave the site clean, which means no debris, no stray fasteners, no equipment forgotten in a corner. If we miss something, you call and we make it right.
- On-time arrival. We show up inside the window we give you. A restoration job is disruptive enough without waiting on a no-show crew.
- Honest, written pricing. The price you approve before work starts is the price you pay. It never moves at the door, and we don’t discover “unexpected extras” once the drywall is open.
- Documentation that supports your claim. Every job is photographed, logged, and formatted so your insurance adjuster can see exactly what was done and why. That documentation is part of what we stand behind.

Our Satisfaction Promise
If you’re not satisfied with how a job turned out, here’s what happens. You call (607) 325-7185, a live person answers, and you tell us what’s wrong. We schedule a return visit. If the issue falls within the 365-Day Done Right Promise, there is no charge for the visit or the fix. That free second visit is built into the guarantee, not a favor we’re doing you. If the issue is something outside the scope of the original work, Shane and the crew will put a written price in front of you before any new work begins, same as the first time. What we don’t do is disappear, dodge calls, or make you chase us. We’ve been part of the Garrison Partners family since 2005 and that only works if Brooklyn homeowners actually trust us to come back when something goes wrong. So we come back.
Licensed & Insured Backing
A warranty is only as good as the company standing behind it, and part of what stands behind Keegan Restoration Brooklyn is the paperwork. We are licensed and insured, which means the work we do in Brooklyn homes is done to code and the property is protected while we’re in it. Our technicians are background-checked and arrive in uniform, and the equipment on the truck comes from brands that professionals actually use: Dri-Eaz, Phoenix, XPOWER, B-Air, and Injectidry. That equipment is operated in compliance with IICRC, RIA, and IFA industry standards. Insurance matters here because restoration work happens in the worst moments, a burst pipe at 2 a.m., a kitchen fire, a mold bloom behind a bathroom wall. The licensing and insurance are the real guarantee behind the guarantee: if something goes wrong, you’re not left alone with it.
What the 365-Day Done Right Promise Actually Says
Here is the plain-language version, because guarantees shouldn’t require a lawyer to read. Keegan Restoration Brooklyn stands behind every repair for one full year from the date the job is completed. If the work fails during that year, meaning a patch cracks, a seam separates, a treated area shows signs of the original problem returning, you call us. We schedule a return visit at no charge. We assess what happened. We make it right. The only thing not covered is new damage from a new event, which is a new job with a new written price. That’s the whole promise. It’s called the 365-Day Done Right Promise because a guarantee that doesn’t last a year isn’t much of a guarantee.

AfterWhat The Garrison Standard Means for Your Job
Every Keegan Restoration Brooklyn job is governed by The Garrison Standard, and that standard is built on five rules we don’t bend. First, we show up inside the window. Second, the price is in writing before any work starts. Third, we do it by the book, following IICRC, RIA, and IFA industry standards for extraction, drying, and remediation. Fourth, we leave the site clean. Fifth, we stand behind the work for a full year. None of that is a slogan. It’s the operating procedure. When water is actively damaging your home, the last thing you need is a crew that treats your emergency like a negotiation. The Garrison Standard exists so you know exactly what to expect before you ever meet us.
How Documentation Protects You After the Job
The guarantee doesn’t end when we walk out the door, and neither does your paperwork trail. Every Keegan job includes photo documentation from start to finish, moisture readings before and after drying, equipment logs showing what ran and for how long, and a written scope of loss that explains what was done in language your insurance company expects to see. That matters when you file a claim. Adjusters process faster when the documentation is complete and consistent with industry standards. We format everything to support your claim, because the guarantee we make to you and the documentation we give your insurer are two sides of the same promise: you should never have to pay twice for the same repair.
Why We Use Professional-Grade Equipment
A guarantee is only meaningful if the work holds, and the work only holds if the drying and extraction actually work. That’s why our equipment roster includes Dri-Eaz dehumidifiers, Phoenix air movers, XPOWER fans, B-Air dryers, and Injectidry systems for tight spaces like wall cavities and under cabinets. These are the brands restoration professionals use when they need to hit drying targets that pass insurance scrutiny. The trade words matter here too: extraction is removing standing water, psychrometrics is the science of how moisture moves through air and materials, desiccant drying pulls water out when conventional dehumidifiers aren’t enough. We use the right equipment for the job and we document the numbers, because dry is not a feeling. Dry is a measurement.
What Happens If Something Fails After We Leave
Let’s walk through the worst case, because this is where guarantees actually get tested. Say we dry out a flooded basement in Park Slope, replace the damaged drywall, and three months later you notice a seam cracking along the patch. You call (607) 325-7185. A live person answers. You explain what you’re seeing. We pull the job file, check the documentation, and schedule a return visit. If the failure falls within the one-year window and relates to our work, there is no charge for the visit, no charge for the materials, no charge for anything. The fix happens. That’s the promise. Shane Pruitt has been answering for this kind of thing since 2005, and the reason the guarantee has a name and a process is so nobody has to wonder what happens next.
